The Wright School of Dance
Hip-Hop
Our hip hop classes bring high-energy movement, confidence, and creativity to the dance floor! These classes focus on rhythm, musicality, footwork, and style while encouraging self-expression and individuality. Dancers learn age-appropriate choreography set to upbeat, clean music in a supportive and exciting environment.
We offer three hip hop levels based on grade:
• Hip Hop 1 (1st–3rd Grade): A fun and fast-paced introduction to basic hip hop moves, coordination, and freestyle.
• Hip Hop 2 (4th–5th Grade): Builds on foundational skills with more complex combinations, footwork, and musical interpretation.
• Hip Hop 3/4 (6th–12th Grade): A more advanced class that challenges dancers with intricate choreography, strength-based movement, and performance techniques.
Hip hop is a great outlet for energy, creativity, and personal style—and a favorite class for many of our students!
